AMD has launched its latest line of desktop processors, the Ryzen 8000G Series. Built on the new "Zen 4" architecture, these processors aim to deliver powerful performance along with integrated graphics in a single package.
The flagship Ryzen 7 8700G features 8 cores, 16 threads, and integrated Radeon 780M graphics. With boost speeds up to 5.1GHz, AMD promises immense processing power for intensive workloads like gaming and content creation. The entire 8000G series also includes AMD EXPO technology for higher memory frequencies and Precision Boost Overdrive for easy one-touch overclocking.

On the graphics side, the Radeon 700M integrated graphics offer a "smooth AAA 1080p gaming experience" without the need for a discrete graphics card. AMD says these are the fastest integrated graphics available on a desktop PC processor. Lower tier models like the 6-core Ryzen 5 8600G and 8500G also include Radeon 760M and 740M graphics respectively.
AMD is positioning these chips for mainstream users who want a capable all-round desktop processor for work and play, without spending extra on a graphics card.
