Blizzard has unleashed patch 1.3.0 for Diablo IV, introducing sweeping changes that promise to redefine class builds and end-game progression. The extensive updates aim to bolster specific playstyles and improve overall build diversity.
New Legendary Powers Amp Up Underused Skills
Several new legendary and unique items target skills that have yet to realize their full potential. Standouts include a Barbarian ring that enhances Rend, Druid gloves that boost Lightning Storm, and a Sorcerer helmet that alters Meteor to drop additional meteors. These items look to enable exciting new playstyles.
Every Class Receives Significant Changes
Barbarians, Druids, Necromancers, Rogues, and Sorcerers all see impactful changes geared towards improving talents and skills that are underperforming. Adjustments range from numerical tweaks to complete skill and rune reworks. For example, the update overhauls Precision, a core Rogue passive, to grant substantial bonuses when skills critically strike.
Introducing Season of the Construct
Patch 1.3.0 initiates Season of the Construct with fresh dungeon rotations, a revamp of how the Distilled Fear crafting material drops, and over a dozen new class specific legendaries joining loot tables. The new season also brings an influx of bug fixes and quality of life changes.

Nightmare Dungeons Overhauled
Changes to higher tier Nightmare Dungeons ensure more consistent and rewarding loot drops tailored to player level and dungeon tier. The patch also updates how treasure goblins behave during the Avarice event.
Play Diablo IV Your Way
A new option to move your hero using the classic WASD keys accommodates players who prefer direct character control instead of mouse-clicking. The user interface also gains additional customizable stash tabs for storing precious loot.
