ToastedShoes, who describes himself on his Youtube Channel as "I ruin people's childhoods for a living", has created and released a new content pack for the game Palworld after receiving a DMCA takedown notice over his previous mod.
In a video posted on January 30th, ToastedShoes revealed that his original mod pack adding certain pocket-sized creatures to Palworld garnered the attention of "a certain corporation with an Italian plumber mascot." The video included a screenshot of the DMCA takedown notice sent to the modder.

In response, ToastedShoes has now released "The Legally-Distinct Pocket Creatures Palworld Mod Pack" which adds "legally distinct pocket-sized creatures" like Yellow Rat, Vegetative Turtle, and Blue Penguin among others. The mod page adds that the mod pack was made for the ToastedShoes channel as a parody of a certain IP owned by Nintendo
