AMD announced new additions to its commercial mobile and desktop AI PC portfolio, delivering advanced performance and AI capabilities for business users. The new AMD Ryzen PRO 8040 Series processors are designed for business laptops and mobile workstations, offering up to eight high-performance Zen 4 cores and integrated AMD RDNA 3 graphics on a 4nm process.
Select models feature AMD Ryzen AI technology, which combines a dedicated AI engine, Radeon graphics, and Ryzen processor cores to enable AI experiences. With up to 16 dedicated AI TOPS and 39 total system TOPS, these processors provide more AI processing power than previous generations.
For desktops, AMD introduced the Ryzen PRO 8000 Series processors, the first AI-enabled desktop processors for businesses. These processors also use Zen 4 cores and a 4nm process, with up to eight cores and integrated Radeon 780M graphics.

Both processor series feature AMD PRO technologies for enterprise-grade manageability, security features, and stability. They also support next-gen connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 on select models.
AMD has partnered with OEMs like HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft to launch new commercial systems powered by these processors, bringing AI capabilities to professional laptops, mobile workstations, and desktops.
