Last July 18, the SM Makati Cyberzone event area hosted AI Ready Makati, an RTX AI PC Workshop run together with NVIDIA, drawing a crowd of roughly 100 attendees, with extra guests choosing to stand along the sidelines rather than miss a seat.
The line that anchored the whole afternoon was printed right on the entrance standees:
"NVIDIA Powers the World's AI. And Yours."
Three speakers, three very different angles on AI and a full room the whole way through.
NVIDIA: Multiplying What Your PC Can Do
Jerome Matti, NVIDIA's Country Consumer Lead, opened the technical side of the day. He walked the crowd through how RTX GPUs are built to multiply AI performance — including a look inside NVIDIA's manufacturing scale with Pegatron to show just how much hardware sits behind "AI on your desktop."
For the gamers in the room, the numbers did the talking: DLSS is boosting performance by up to 4x across titles like Cyberpunk 2077, F1 2022, and Portal RTX, with 400+ RTX AI games now supporting the tech. Jerome also previewed NVIDIA ACE, AI-driven game avatars plus AI-accelerated mods and LLM-powered gaming NPCs, giving the audience a glimpse of where gaming AI is headed next.

Jay: Build Your Own AI Toolkit — Literally
Where Jerome's segment was about hardware, Jay's session was about what you actually do with it. His talk built toward what he called the Agentic AI Employee Roadmap — eight steps from "Use It Right" all the way to "Manage a Workforce."
The most practical moment: Jay showed the room a dead-simple fix for one of AI's most common frustrations — having to re-explain your business every single conversation. His fix? Write a file about your business once — what you sell, who your customers are, your rules, your voice and have your AI read that file at the start of every chat. Simple, but the kind of tip that visibly landed with the crowd.
He closed with a live look at what he called an "Agentic Workforce" Claude Code acting as an orchestrator, spawning agents that handle market intelligence, generate content through ComfyUI, and post straight to Twitter/X and TikTok. Effectively, a small business's entire digital marketing department, run by AI agents reporting to one orchestrator.

MaeMae Petonio: COMMAND THE ROOM™
The day's third speaker shifted the room from chips to character. CEO Authority Strategist MaeMae Petonio delivered COMMAND THE ROOM™: The Anatomy of CEO Presence — a reminder that in an era where everyone has access to the same AI tools, presence is what still separates the leaders people remember from the ones they forget.
Her core idea: leaders need to MORPH into the best version of themselves from the inside out and her closing line is the one worth keeping: the future doesn't just belong to the most intelligent, it belongs to the most intentional.
She also sent the crowd off with a freebie a QR code for a free pass to her Leadership Connection Webclass, covering DISC Profile and the 5 Love Languages.

Around the Floor
The technical sessions were only half the story. The room itself was part of the show:
- Seats filled up early, with latecomers opting to stand along the sidelines rather than miss the sessions — phones up, filming and live-streaming from nearly every angle.
- A Spider-Man made an appearance seated right in the audience near the NVIDIA registration standees, an unplanned, crowd-pleasing detail that made it into more than one photo.
- A live auction broke up the seminar pacing, with bidding starting at just ₱1 per item. A RAPOO-V500 PRO-87 TKL keyboard (SRP ₱1,695) was among several items up for grabs, and the crowd's energy visibly picked up for it.

- Every attendee who registered and participated walked away with a voucher PC Express's way of making sure the day turned into something people could actually use.

Why This Isn't a One-Off
AI Ready Makati is the first stop, not the whole trip. PC Express is bringing this same mix real hardware, real experts, real hands-on AI to more communities in the months ahead, including a multi-town series in Bulacan this September. Makati was the proof that people will show up for this. What's next is the scale-up.
