No Man's Sky Receives Massive New Omega Update

Hello Games has released a major new update for its expansive space exploration game No Man's Sky, dubbed the Omega Update. The highlight of the update is a new limited-time expedition called Omega Expedition that will run for around four weeks.

The Omega Expedition features rewards like exclusive posters, a unique Atlas jetpack, the Atlas Headshield helmet, and the high-performance Starborn Runner starship. Players old and new can participate in a journey across the galaxy while probing the memories of the Atlas.

Other key changes in the Omega Update include the ability to force pirate dreadnoughts to surrender, new procedural missions from planetary NPCs, a reworking of the Atlas Path storyline, and Twitch campaign with exotic rewards.

Additionally, the update brings quality-of-life improvements like easier terrain editing, pinned crafting guidance, visual enhancements, and expanded fast travel options. A full list of patch notes is available on the No Man's Sky website.

The Omega Update is live now on all platforms.
