In a thrilling announcement, MachineGames, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and executive produced by Todd Howard, has revealed the gameplay for their highly anticipated title, "Indiana Jones and The Great Circle™."
Set between the iconic films "Raiders of the Lost Ark™" and "The Last Crusade™," this first-person, single-player adventure promises an exhilarating journey through exotic locales and treacherous landscapes. Players will step into the legendary fedora of Indiana Jones, racing against sinister forces to unravel an ancient mystery that spans the globe.
Design Director Jens Andersson shares his excitement, stating, “Our game is about putting you in the shoes of an iconic hero. First-person makes you part of this world – allowing you to explore and experience things more intimately. The world of Indiana Jones is a world with mysteries around every corner, where you’re racing against the clock and outsmarting your enemies as you hunt down artifacts.”

The game will take players from the sacred halls of the Vatican to the arid deserts of Egypt, the lush and sunken temples of Sukhothai, and the frigid peaks of the Himalayas. The diverse and rich environments promise to deliver a true sense of adventure and discovery.
MachineGames, known for their works on Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, is set to bring their expertise in crafting compelling narratives and characters to the world of Indiana Jones. Senior Animator Rebecca Elfstrӧm Hidén emphasizes the synergy between the studio's creative ideas and the beloved franchise, stating, “Our DNA and the pillars of Indiana Jones just came together so naturally.”
Game Director Jerk Gustafsson adds, “There are a lot of Indiana Jones fans at MachineGames. Most of us grew up with Indy and fell in love with the movies and the characters when we were young. He’s a relatable type of hero and a true adventurer. That’s a legacy we want to share and be part of, and we want to build something interesting and genuine.”
"Indiana Jones and The Great Circle™" is scheduled to release later this year on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the exciting news that it will be available on day one on Game Pass.
