Blizzard Entertainment's recently released dark fantasy action RPG Diablo IV will launch on the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscription service on March 28th, Xbox leader Sarah Bond announced during the latest Official Xbox Podcast.
Diablo IV, first released on May 30, 2023, across platforms, will be the first new Activision Blizzard title brought into Microsoft's library of games since its acquisition of the company last fall.

When the $68.7 billion Activision Blizzard deal closed in October 2022, Xbox head Phil Spencer noted that while the publisher's beloved franchises like Call of Duty and Overwatch would come to Game Pass, it would be a gradual rollout rather than immediate.
The addition of Diablo IV on March 28th signals the start of integrating Activision Blizzard's catalog into Game Pass to keep engaging its 34 million subscribers.
Beyond the base Diablo IV experience, Xbox Game Pass members can also expect access to the game's 2023 expansion Vessel of Hatred when it debuts. Vessel of Hatred will introduce a brand new Diablo class and start Blizzard's yearly expansion release plans.
