The gaming community came together in full force as PC Express Battle Arena LIVE: HyperX League – Araneta transformed SM Araneta City Cyberzone into a hub for gaming, technology, and community engagement.
Held from June 5 to 7, 2026, the three-day event brought together gamers, students, content creators, technology enthusiasts, and mall-goers for a weekend filled with competitive gaming, interactive experiences, exclusive promotions, and exciting prizes.
Designed to celebrate gaming culture while showcasing the latest technologies, Battle Arena LIVE featured a variety of activities that allowed attendees to compete, connect, and experience the best of PC Express and its partner brands.
Competitive Gaming Takes Center Stage
One of the event’s biggest attractions was the Tekken 8 Tournament, which drew players and spectators eager to witness high-level competition.
After a series of intense matches, John Michael Constantino, better known as “Luka Magic,” emerged as the tournament champion, taking home a HyperX Gaming Peripheral Set.
Finishing in second place was James Garcia, who received a HyperX SoloCast Microphone, making it a valuable addition for gaming, streaming, and content creation.
The tournament highlighted the growing strength of the local fighting game community and showcased the competitive spirit of Filipino gamers.
Beyond Tekken 8, attendees also participated in the NBA 2K26 Challenge and the Forza Horizon Leaderboard Challenge, giving basketball and racing fans opportunities to test their skills and compete for leaderboard recognition.
