PC Express just announced that the latest gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro, are now available for pre-order.
The ROG Phone 8 features upgraded specs including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, faster LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, an advanced cooling system called GameCool 8, and a high-capacity 5,500mAh battery with support for fast charging. It sports a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 165Hz maximum refresh rate and a new tri-camera system with a 50MP main Sony IMX890 sensor.
The ROG Phone 8 Pro includes all the specs of the regular ROG Phone 8 but bumps up the RAM to up to 24GB and storage to up to 1TB. It also adds a third rear camera with 3x optical zoom. Both phones come preloaded with ASUS' gaming software enhancements and are compatible with the new AeroActive Cooler X accessory.
The ROG Phone 8 will be available in Phantom Black and Rebel Grey color options with 12GB/256GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB memory variants. The ROG Phone 8 Pro comes in Phantom Black with 512GB and 1TB storage options.
Pre-Orders and Availability
Pre-orders for the ROG Phone 8 series will be open from February 6 to March 6, 2024, at PC Express.
